Prenatal through early adolescence

Everyone in this house deserves a good night.

I'm Chanlyn, a pediatric sleep health consultant. I'm not a sleep trainer. The plan is built around your child — their temperament, their nervous system, what they need in order to settle — and then shaped to fit your household. And I stay with you while it works.

Trusted Sleep Support for Growing Families

Sixteen years and thousands of families — from overnight newborn care in Seattle homes to remote coaching around the world.

Formal education in pediatric sleep, four years as the English Sleep Expert on the Kinedu app, and a career that began in other people's nurseries at 2am. My work is helping families understand their own child's sleep and build foundations that hold.

If you're exhausted

You are not doing anything wrong. This is fixable.

Almost none of my work is age-based. Age is one input among several — I start from your child’s temperament and nervous system, and from what they actually do, rather than from a chart of what a baby their age is supposed to do.

Your child, not a chart

Wake windows and nap counts published by age assume an average baby. Yours is a specific one. The plan follows what your child actually does, read from your own logs.

You're not left alone with it

Real-time text support through the difficult nights, and a scheduled call every week to adjust the plan as your child responds.

Gentle, and honest about it

Progressive, responsive methods, and a clear account of what to expect — including the nights that are harder than the rest.

How it works

Four steps from booking to better sleep

Choose & pay

Pick the package that fits. Pay securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay — your place is held the moment payment clears.

Pick your date

Choose your consultation date — at least a week out for a coaching package, so there's time to prepare properly before we talk.

I send your forms

Your intake forms, your client agreement and your sleep log app all come directly from me — and you start collecting fresh observations of your child's days and nights.

Your consultation

With your form and logs in, we go through the opening stages of the plan together. You get it in writing afterwards, and then I'm with you through the coaching weeks.

Your private sleep log

Every coaching package includes access to my own logging app. You tap in naps, feeds and night wakings as they happen; I see the same data on my side before every call, so we spend our time solving rather than reconstructing.

Questions

Questions I get asked most

Will I have to do cry-it-out?

No. I will never ask you to leave your child alone to cry, and you'll be responding to them the whole way through.

What I won't do is promise you no crying at all, because that wouldn't be honest. Your child has a voice, and change is something they'll have feelings about — crying is often how they tell you they'd rather things stayed the same. The difference is that you're right there with them while they say it.

The plan is built around your child — what they need, how they're likely to respond to change, and how much runway they need to adjust to it. Some children settle into it quickly. Others need longer, and we give them longer.

How old does my child need to be?

I support families from prenatal through early adolescence. Newborn work looks different from toddler work, and the packages are built to flex around that.

If you're expecting, we walk through what to expect, safe sleep, and building good foundations — and then begin properly whenever you're ready.

How quickly will we see a change?

It depends on age, temperament and what is actually driving the wakings, which is why I will not give you a number before I have read your logs.

On our consultation I will tell you what is realistic for your child specifically — including where the harder nights are likely to fall, so they do not come as a surprise. I would rather be accurate than encouraging.

What do I need to do before we talk?

For a Sleep Chat — a short pre-consult form, sent in advance. It takes a few minutes and means the half hour we have is spent on your child rather than on background.

For a coaching package — you get the full intake questionnaire and the sleep log app, and you start collecting fresh observations of your child's days and nights. Three days is the baseline, due four days before we speak.

For a rescue call — the same questionnaire, due 72 hours ahead, and you will need three to five days of your own current sleep data ready alongside it.

Either way, I read it before we speak. The call then starts from evidence rather than recollection.

Do you work with families outside the US?

Yes. Coaching is remote, so I work with families anywhere in the world — we set your consultation and follow-up calls around your time zone, not mine. In-person and overnight support is the one thing that stays local to the Seattle area.

Do you work with twins or multiples?

Yes. Each child gets their own sleep plan — they're different people with different temperaments, and treating them as one unit is usually why multiples get stuck. There's no additional charge for multiples on in-person overnight support.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life with a baby is unpredictable — message me and we'll move it. Full terms are in the client agreement you'll receive after booking.

Ready for a better night?

Choose your package and pay securely — you'll be booking your consultation two minutes from now.
